Los Angeles is getting a rare open-air electronic music moment by the ocean this summer.

Stephan Bodzin, one of melodic techno’s most recognizable live performers, is set to play Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, July 18, 2026, as part of Koncept at the Pier. The event begins at 3 PM and will bring a full day of electronic music to one of LA’s most iconic coastal locations.

Unlike a traditional DJ set, Bodzin’s performance is billed as a live set. Known for his hardware-driven approach, the German producer has built a global reputation around melodic, cinematic techno performed through synths, live controls, and custom stage gear. For fans, that means the Santa Monica date is more than a playlist behind the decks — it is a full live electronic performance.

The lineup also includes Skala, MANTi, Bibo, and Denyc, giving the event a full support bill leading into Bodzin’s headlining performance.

The Santa Monica Pier setting gives the show a different kind of energy from a standard warehouse or club night. With the ocean nearby, the Pacific Park lights overhead, and a crowd gathering into sunset, the event is positioned as one of LA’s more scenic electronic music experiences of the summer.

For anyone following the melodic techno circuit, Bodzin’s live shows have long stood out for their precision and emotional build. His performances are often centered around analog textures, long-form tension, and the kind of sweeping synth lines that translate especially well in open-air settings.

Koncept at the Pier brings that sound to the coast on July 18, with tickets currently available through Fourvenues.
