Pershing Square Beautification Day will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, inviting community volunteers to clean, green, and prep the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Organizers are rallying community support for a massive push to paint, plant, and revamp the public space ahead of high-profile summer events and the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 games coming to the city.

Volunteers can choose to register for one or both of the three-hour volunteer blocks:
Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Pershing Square, 532 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013
🛠️ What Volunteers Will Do
The initiative is organized by the Los Angeles Parks Foundation, L.A. Rec & Parks, and local community groups. Key tasks include:
Painting to refresh faded park elements and remove graffiti.
Planting new greenery, flowers, and landscaping.
Revamping public sitting areas and general clean-up to ensure the park is vibrant and welcoming.
A diverse coalition of city entities, neighborhood alliances, and sports groups—including Angel City Football Club—are backing the event to build community pride as major Pershing Square multi-phase modernization updates slowly take shape across the square.
